Friends of the Terraces

Every terrace is an island, no matter how small.  Ikea wanted to encourage everyone to make the most of every deck, rooftop, patio, or balcony especially in a country like Spain, with 3,000 hours of sunshine a year.

This initiative gave people the chance to report friends and family who neglected these precious and endangered spaces in our cities to the non-profit organisation FriendsOfTheTerraces.org, which took the matter very seriously.
